How to Become a Member

If you are interested in Toastmasters activities, please come and see our regular meeting as a guest, first. If you attend our meeting 3 consecutive times, you can apply for the membership. You can enjoy Toastmasters activities as a guest at any time, but we are sure that Toastmasters Membership will provide you with more benefits than just being a guest.

Upon Joining Toastmasters Club

Members progress through a basic speech manual, which includes a series of 10 speaking projects designed to instill a basic foundation in public speaking. Upon completion of the Basic Speech Manual, members can select from among 15 advanced manuals to develop speaking skills that are geared to specific interests. There is no instructor in a Toastmasters club. Instead, members evaluate on other's oral presentations. Besides, taking turns delivering prepared speeches and evaluating those of other members; Toastmasters give impromptu talks on assigned topics. They also develop listening skills, conduct meetings, serve as officers in various leadership roles and learn parliamentary procedures.

Semi-annual membership fee: 10,000yen per 6 months
Initiation fee: 5,000yen (include Manual)

Initiation fee for reinstate and transfer members: 3,000yen
Inactive membership fees: 3,000yen
Guest fee: 500 yen (include refreshment)
